So, what is the best way to intentionally capsize your boat?

Take your Mother-in-law sailing and wait for your sub-conscious to take over.

with 2 people, i have found sheeting in hard while 90 degrees from the wind while double traped on the wrong side of the boat works pretty well. if im solo ill try flipping it backwards over the stern using the trapeze wire to pull the boat down

I find I can capsize my cat by sheeting in, locking in place with cleats, then go to leeward side and grab the handle on the trapeze, stand on outside of hull, and pull. Comes over easily. I use the same technique on land, except I have to walk it off. It's great to have this technique when you lose a halyard up the mast, or stuff gets tangled up there.

Best of luck,
