I was recently given a 1978 Hobie 16. There is some delamination on the foredeck of one hull which I should be able to fix with the epoxy injection technique. The other thing I am concerned about is what sounds like blocks of foam moving around inside the hulls when I flip them around (I currently have the boat in pieces.) Does anyone have an idea about what this could be and if it is a problem or just something to ignore.

Thanks,
Toby H.

The H16 has several foam blocks inside her hulls. These are normally glassed into place, If the hulls seam solid except for a little delam on the top you should be okay. This is one of those tough calls, you really don't know untill something happens. Maybe someone can help that has had this same problem before.

Thanks,
