Is $1500 for a 1984 Hobie 16 a good price? It has been used little since 1989 and appears to be in good shape from pictures. It does not have a comptip, but has Harken blocks and EPO rudders.

Thanks

Make sure that there aren't any soft spots in the deck. The price sounds about right as long as everything is there. Not having a comptip isn't a huge deal unless you are going to race, then go to your Hobie Dealer and order one, they will sell it to you at cost and should cost about $50 bucks to install. Good luck, You can never go wrong w/a used H16's hold there value extremely well.

I have an '84 16 as well - no comp-tip - you can add them without replacing the entire mast? It's a one peice mast though...?
