Looks like a nice boat! And sounds like you've got the right attitude towards mishaps. Enjoy your Hobie!

Has anyone else used the ZEP wet look floor finish on their boat? It looks great. How does it do in the water? How is it with UV protection?

My lesson learned on forgetting essential sailing gear is to make a list. I have a full page list. It covers all of the gear for the boat, and the car, and some checks before going out - like checking the ring-dings on the standing rigging. Speaking of standing rigging, have you replaced your rigging? There is a lesson-learned there also. Most everyone will recommend you replace your standing rigging.

The boat looks good.
