What is the going rate for parts boat to get a solid starboard hull?

Local guy is asking 250$ for complete boat with damaged rudders and no sails / boom.

Port hull supposedly has a hole in the bottom towards the back, but Starboard hull he says is very solid. (He said he stood on it and it didn't flex at all - geeeez dont !!)

Anyway what's the going rate for a solid early 80s starboard hull?

I imagine I won't be able to sell any of the other parts to recoup some $.

Anyone have a solid spare starboard hull in Central MN ??

Thanks.

In AZ, I paid 300 for a set in excellent condition. 250 seems high for one hull that has a partner in bad condition... I think the guy I bought from was asking 60 for a single in good condition.

To be honest, I'd make him an offer for $150 and leave it at that. He's probably not going to find anyone else to sell it to, so his only other option is to junk it. Depends on what else comes with it. Mast? Trampoline frame? Steering system? Jib & Mainsheet blocks? It also depends on what it's all worth to you. Like I said, he's going to have a tough time selling any of it really, unless you know someone else in your area is looking for parts/hulls. If you're just looking for a spare hull, I'd say the hull alone is worth maybe $100 (that's what I'd be willing to pay). If you wouldn't mind an extra mast and other parts, and can store them, then maybe $50-$150 for the rest of it isn't bad. If your starboard hull is shot and you need a new one, maybe the hull alone is worth $300 to you because without it, you have no boat. It's really your call.
