I have the option to buy a aluminum trailer for my Hobie 16 for a very cheap price. I'm only hesitant to purchase it because often times I'll take my Hobie off the trailer, leave it in the grass and then use my galvanized trailer for Home Depot runs. Will the aluminum trailer have a lower weight capacity? I can't find anything online that has capacities.

It's impossible to be sure unless you know the models. Just for curiosity I looked up the Trailex aluminum which has a capacity of 450lbs versus 800lbs for my LoadRite galvanized.
