I'll be heading to Myrtle Beach next month and would like to do some ocean sailing. Does anyone know of a hobie club (Fleet) around that area?

thanks

You are gonna love sailing here!! The wind is perfect in May, while the water temp is just cool enough to keep most people out of the surf.

Sad to report, I do not know of a local club. There HAS to be one, I just don't know about it. Check with Charlie at Sailing and Ski Connection:

The shop is at the end of Highway 501 coming into town, hard to miss. If you need a rental, he also does that at Downwind Sails.

Bring a water proof camera. I almost always get dolphins near me when my boat plains out (makes a humming sound) even saw a whal tale fairly close up. WOW!!

Well, that was when I HAD a boat......need any spare parts for a 16?

Sail First
Sail Last

Sail FAST!!
