From the head of the mainsail down to about 5 inches below the head, the luff came out of the sail track. Because of this, i cannot lower the sail (the part where the line jumps out of the track gets stuck where the comp-tip starts...) It also seems like i cannot push the luff back into the sail track, because the sides of the groove are too stiff...

Any recommendations?

Use a large, flat bladed screwriver to gently open up the Comptip track and work the luff rope back into the track. Insert the blade and twist.
