Does any one know of a method of attaching a forward tramp to the front part of the hobie 16, similar to the forward tramp on the hobie Getaway? I'm sure some modification would be required. Thanks for any insight.

Maybe you could use the tramp tracks from an H-17, 18 or 20 to retain the sides (?) but you'd still need a way of supporting the fore and aft ends!
Good luck- Dave

Thanks for replying! I see what your saying and you are correct about the support. As of yet I am in the process of developing something that will work (in between studying biology!) So if it works out I'll let everyone know. Anyone else have anyideas? Image Here is a link to the picture of the foward tramp on the Getaway.

Given the H-16's proclivity to pitchpole I'm not sure a forward tramp is a good idea.
