As I recall, a boom is about 106" long.

How to ship a used boom is a challenge.
Anyone with thoughts or experience out there?

UPS has limits on weight and length.
Recommendations for other carriers?

I'm not sure whether you're talking US or Canada, as you have two locations. There can be differences between the two.

UPS limit on oversize packages length is 108", which gives you two inches to spare. I believe DHL won't have any problems with the length. Both will charge you extra. A trucking company can handle this as well. All of these are going to be expensive and may exceed the value of the boom.

Dang !
That's exactly my thought too, with rates the way they are.
This was for a project from the US into Canada....so add another $50 or so for Customs Clearance.

On to another project, how to convert my existing hook trap system to a Sail Safe System.
