Anyone have a good max weight limit for a 16? How many folks have you guys had on board without those hulls digging in?

Totally depends on the conditions.

The quoted max would be light air and flat water.

In and around 300 lbs is a great weight for the 16 in general.

I have had about 650lbs in 15 kts and 3 foot seas. Very wet and slow ride, but it can be done.

I had about 650 lbs on my 16 last week iun 2' seas and 18 knot windds. A very wet and bumpy ride. Better than not sailing, but I wouldn;t recommend it.

I've had four people on mine and we were absolutely flying up at Tahoe one day, me at about 200, my buddy at about 150 and two girls at about a buck twenty-five each. The wind was booking and it was very. very wet, relatively flat water though.

I was dry seeing as there was three people in front of me =)

Not recommended of course, but we didn't end up in the water either.
