A friend of mine always traps out standing on his hulls. I stand on the side rails mainly because my shoes stick real well on the carpet. Any of you guys stand on the hulls? If so, why? Which do you think has more leverage? Hobie puts a non-skid surface on the decks. I wonder what their thinking is?

The only time you put your feet on the deck is when you run out of rail (going aft).

Who knows what Hobie Cat was thinking when they put the non-skid on the deck back in 1970?
