Hi, just received my new Passport 12.0 (2022), and notice that my seat doesn't have the integrated padding like the one on the picture into the Web site.

Any else notice this?

There was a change to the seat mesh recently and boats are shipping with the new style. What you have is the current design.

Jbernier: Do you know why this padding was removed? (When I sit, the bottom goes down and it feel like it's going to to stretch apart, I'am 185 lbs)

Due to global supply chain issues, Hobie needed to consolidate designs to increase production. Having multiple style mesh for different models was a bottleneck and we needed to streamline that item to keep the flow of production going uninterrupted. We have had a long track record of durable construction with the Lynx & iTrek seats which use the same style mesh as what is going on Compass now.
