I purchased my Lynx about a month ago. This weekend I noticed what appears to be small cracks in the seam of the hull. I believe these are just cosmetic, but while my hull is under warranty I thought it might be smart to confirm that these won't contribute to any long term issues. The first crack in Picture 1 is located on the left side of the stern. The second crack in Picture 2 is located on the left side of the stern about 4" from the other crack close to the rudder. Thank you, |

Any update on this? Has it gotten worse? Was it warrantied? |

Normal. The weld seam is only about 3/32" wide, anything that hangs over that isn't welded and looks like it's cracked. My local dealer had 20 lynx's in stock when I bought mine and they all had areas like that. My Lynx is 15 months old and has literally 1000s of miles on it fishing 4-5 days a week. Those areas haven't caused any issues and look the exact same as day 1. |
