I've been working on my H17 at my mom's house all summer. Patching some holes and cracks; installing ports and coolers.

Sunday night I applied Marine-Tex to the hulls, and left them out in the sun on sawhorses in front of the garage to dry. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get back there to work on it for the past couple of days.

I just got a call from my brother, and apparently he backed his truck into my hulls and smashed them through the garage door.

yay!

This will be a great story to tell his kids someday.

Checked out the damage last night. The tailgate on his Tacoma is damaged pretty badly, and the garage door is destroyed.

The good news: NO damage to the Hobie whatsoever. This is one tough cookie.
