Yeah, I talk to them at least once a week. Do they have H17 wings? Huh, who knew?

I got rid of my magnum and bought a tiger. Now there's only 1 tramp on my boat.

I got my wing tramp replacements through Murry's and am very pleased. The inside wing rail edge of the mesh has a vinal covering, so it you rest your hiking stick on the wing, as I do, there are less wear problems (the reason I had to replace the original wing tramps). On the down side they aren't class legal, why I don't know - like it matters, and could cause problems if racing. 8)

Yo, yo. I has some of dem wing tramps from Murrays. (Actually drop-shipped from a company in St. Pete). They're fine for me too– except those vinyl strips are also on the outboard edge and when wet, they are as slippery as eel poop.

Just a wild guess, but I'd bet they aren't class legal because Hobie didn't sell 'em.

OOOOHHH Wing tramps.
You know the major difference between Hobie Tramps and Aftermarket? Welded rather than sewn, last a lot longer etc, etc. and all that. But if cost is an issue, aftermarket might suit your needs. Your local Hobie dealer can get you aftermarket tramps and you usually won't have to pay shipping. I know we sell aftermarket tramps, but I always try to push the Hobie tramps because the quality is so much better. Most of this stuff comes from the same suppliers, it all depends on where you want your dollar to go. Looks like they're running about $225 these days.

Hope that helps.

Not 17 wing tramps - the Hobie one's are sewn too (unless you're saying that the aftermarket ones are welded, but the Hobie's are definitely sewn).
