I noticed that Hobie doesn't offer a spinnaker for the 17SE or Sport. I also haven't seen any by other makers specifically (some for general size). Is there a reason not to have one (shroud/mast position, hull shape, etc.)? If OK, who would offer them?

I think the H16 spinnaker kit could be converted to wook on the 17.

Matt:

Wouldn't that put to much load on the computip? That is why I was told not to get a Hooter when I looked at them. I have a 190 sq. ft. reacher now using stock Hobie 17 foil and roller furling system.
