Post subject:  H17 jib/roller furler setup wanted

hey guys
i am new to the hobie community and recently bought my first beach cat (hobie 17) :mrgreen: anyone out there looking to sell a used H17 jib and roller furler system as i would like to add a jib w/roller furler to my 17. would appreciate any thoughts/advice. thanks!

I don't have a used one, but I've got a brand new one that I'll sell for 20% off retail.

Full kit, including sail, spreader bar, forestay, cleats - even the rivets and screws you need.

Where are you located?

thanks for your reply. i am in georgetown,mass. is this a fairly easy retrofit to add a roller furling jib to a standard H17? how can i contact you directly? thanks! frank

Very easy - the jib halyard / forestay / spreader bar assembly replaces the forestay / bridles of the stock rig. The only thing you need a drill for is to install the jib sheet cleats and the fairleads used to dead-end the jib sheets. I'll toss in the rigging video so you can see how it all goes together.

I've also got the boomlet so you can go boomless if you want.
