Took the starboard hull off today. Only took that one off, due to logistics.

Here's what I found...two loose screws, and one screw almost totally unscrewed

this is the aft endcap...the one with the most exterior glass damage...

and this next one is forward-starboard endcap, exactly as I found it...I don't know why this one would be loose...

after reviewing send4help's photos of the end caps being loose I decided to dis-assemble my 17. Good thing. Only one of the 4 end caps was actually screwed down tight. I was able to move the other three from an 1/8 to almost 1/4 inch. All the screws were loose. (yeah, mine too :wink: ) I removed the screws and shot a little two part semi-flexible epoxy into the holes and re-mounted the end caps. Now I will reassemble and find something else that needs fixing :lol: PS - thanks Dan!
