I am looking at this boat, and the owner has it listed as a 17' Hobie cat. I have never owned a Hobie, but from some research online, it doesn't appear to have the correct frame layout for a 17. The frame appears to be mounted more like a 16, or 18. Keep in mind that I am new to Hobies, and to sailing in general for that matter, and am not looking for top of the line. Thanks |

A Hobie 16. The Hobie 16 is 16' 7" long, so by measuring... they thought it was a 17. If in working order... $800 is a good value. |
