My tiller crossbar endcaps have an integral bolt instead of the connection kit shown in the 2011 catalog. (The tiller tube endcaps match the catalog and are in good condition).

The crossbar endcaps are pretty chewed up and I would like to replace them. The crossbar is 76-1/8" long.

What parts are included in the RUDDER ADJUSTER KIT - 60400011?

If I get this kit (60400011) and the TILLER CONNECTOR KIT - 11520005, will I have everything I need to replace the tiller crossbar endcaps and be able to make adjustments?

How far into the crossbar do the do the endcaps insert?

Thanks.

The older style end caps which use a bolt, washers, spring and a nut to connect to the tiller arms are the 60400010 (x2)

This kit has the aluminum end fitting which is adjustable for toe in. It uses a short bolt and a nut which is inside the tube. Both included. I'd guess that the part inside the tube is about 4" long.

The preferred connector kit is # 3052 (shown on page 21 / 2011 Spring catalog)
