Does anyone know what the top speed of a H17/H17Sport is? Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks Doug. The stock H17Sport can go at least 30.5 mph because I've been there, once (GPS verified) and I have been several times up in the upper 20s. All on broad reaches, surfing the down side of rather large swells. My question better stated is, what is the theoretical top speed one can achieve given optimum conditions?

Don't have a GPS, but I know that the reacher made a lot of difference, I can point higher and downwind is a dream. You should get one. I sold my old jib and never looked back. Doug |
