I have small (1/2") cut through my solid vinil tramp. I have piece of same material I would like to glue over (or from both sides). What will be best glue to use? Contact cement?
Thanks 8)

Contact cement worked well in my repair of the vinyl tramp on my H16. Vinyl cement would probabily work also. In my repair I glued the patch to the undersid of the tramp then reinforced the patch with stiching using a sewing all, that would minimize the 'patch look'. :wink:

Not familiar with sewing all. What does it mean? :roll:

all = awl

A tool that looks like a short ice pick used for punching needle holes through heavy material (as opposed to pushing a needle through).

An auto upholstry shop would probably sew it on for you for pretty cheap. I replaced both of the hiking straps on my 16 with old seat belts and they did it for 20 bucks. I would imagine that a single patch would be considerably less. That is, if you don't have an awl or if you don't want to spend your time/energy.
