How tight should the dophin striker be on an FX one? It's different than any of the others I have encountered and mine seems loose. Is the tension adjusted by raising and lowering the post?

Hi Karl,
Glad to hear you have an FX. How do you like it.
I just sailed mine at a regatta this weekend.

The dolfin striker on mine is snug, it is not loose at all.
If you want I can count up the number of threads above and below the cross bar. That will place where the nuts are on the post.

I put my boat together and the front crossbar was perfectly straight, no prebend to it at all.

Hope some one from the factory chimes in, be great to get the expert opinions.

Have fun with the FX.
