| Post subject: | Older H17 Hull Decals |
I have an older H17 with a hull that got damaged in severe rain/wind storm a couple weeks ago. The damage is a hole on the side of the hull where the "Hobie 17" decal is. I'll have the hole repaired but, I have been unable to find a decal set in H17 parts lists. Anyone know if those decals are available? If so, where? Thanks. |

You might try taking the boat, or just a picture of the good graphic, to a grapics shop. Someplace that could make a replica of the original for you. I doubt that older graphics are still available from Hobie. |

Thanks for the advice Karl. I will take a couple pictures and I'll also do a rubbing of the what's left of the original to obtain a relief impression of the lettering and lines. Most of the original is still in good shape, but much of it will have to be removed when the damage is repaired. Thanks. |
