I've heard the boards aren't the same for the two boats. Hobie Europe lists carbon blades and boards are available for the FXone. The Hobie catalog lists the Tiger board in carbon, and I know that the rudders are the same, just wondering if this is true of the daggerboard.

Is it possible to order a new boat with the carbon blades and boards? The Hobie dealer I use has been ordering 16's with EPO's would that work with the FXone?

Matt?

The dagger boards on the FX are a bit shorter and have a slightly different shaped head. Rudders from Europe have a different shape than the EPO's - at this time there hasn't been anyone make the switch - and I'm not sure if there would be any benefit.

The carbon boards an blades are no longer being offered from HCE - I think thier website needs to be updated.

I wasn't looking for epo's on my next boat. But carbon boards, and blades would be pretty cool looking.
