Hey guys,
I have a friend who purchased a sport conversion kit, but it is without instructions.

My Question is how far up from the end of the mast blank, not end cap, is the hole for the mast rotation arm? And if you have any more dimensions for this that would be helpful, that would be great.

Matt M. if you have the link or a pdf for the instructions i would appreciate that as well.

You don't use a mast rotation arm on the Sport configuration.

H17 sport to H17 SE conversion kit, converts from a sport to regular 17.

Tom - I did the conversion on my new boat and there was a hole already drilled in the base of the mast, covered up with black silicone. All I had to do was dig out the silicone to get the bolt through.

If the hole's not already there, then drill it about a 1/2" above the end of the extrusion. It's meant to go through the mast base casting.

You can see how close it is to the bottom of the mast in this photo:
