Hi friends,

My Hobie 14 has a 1:2 sheet system on its jib. However I don't see it as an advantage since it is normally not so strong to sheet-in and on the contrary after having tacked there is a lot of sheet to pull for setting the jib on the new tack.

I was thinking about just knotting in a 1:1 manner my jib to its sheet but I wanted to listen your advises first.

Thanks in advance,
Fabio

I'm not sure about in the H14, but on my 16 in a stiff breeze it can take some muscle to sheet in the jib all the way.
