I'm considering buying a 14t so my kids can learn to sail. I don't know much at all about 14's, though I have spent plenty of time on a 16 and currently sail an 18.
The 14t I'm interested in has a hull # of CCMB3618M76IS according to the current owner. Does that make it an April of '76 boat? What does the S stand for?
The pics the current owner has sent me indicate a very stock looking 14t. I'm probably going to make a road trip to go look at/possibly buy it, and was wondering if there were specific 14t things to examine closely that an old 16 pilot wouldn't necessarily already be tuned in to.
Thank you, this forum is great.
