I've got tacking down pretty well now. I have however had a hard time getting moving again in heavy wind. Once the tack is complete, I sheet in and expect to move forward but find I am "crabbing" (moving sideways). I'll sheet out, assuming I've pulled the main in too tight and try to slowly bring it in again but typically I continue to crab. I'm not sure how I eventually get it move forward. What can I do to get it moving forward quicker?

Allow the bow to come further around before sheeting again. Sheet slowly until the boat is moving. If you can not get the bow fiurther around and well past head to wind, back the boat down by backwinding the main and reversing the rudders. Get pointed more towards a reaching angle and then start sheeting on the new tack again.
