New to this I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. When I get flying along on one hull it seems to run too deep in the water. It gets to the point that the tramp starts to drag in the water. I am not traped out (don't have a harness yet) so is it that I don't have enough speed to be flying that high or ????????????? The hulls are dry so that isn't an issue.

Well I'm 180 but I've seen pictures showing other 14's with sometimes two aboard and the hull in the water isn't running near as deep as I am with just myself. Last weekend was the first time I had enough wind to even get in the situation and I only had a little time to be out there. I would think I may need to get a harness and see what that does for me.

I think alot of it will depend on forward movement of the boat, but when its light, I tend to have a pretty low profile in the water.
Where is Westfield? We have a ton of 14s over here in Iowa that race from time to time.

Westfield is one hour straight north of Madison.
