| Post subject: | hobie 14 halyard replacement |
I recently discovered that the hayard rope to wire connection, right at the cable that connects the shackle is frayed. Looks like I have to replace the halyard completly. Does anyone know a decent priced shop I can purchase this halyyard for. (It's for a Hobiecat 14, 1981) Thanks for a response. Schlipps |

To get a nice new one try http://www.backyardboats.com. They have halyards for both the comp tip and the all aluminum masts I believe. You could also try http://www.murrays.com or http://www.saltydogmarine.com. I have recently be refurbishing my 14 Turbo and I have recently dealt with all three vendors with good success.
