Mark,

I made my own nylon main sail... probably the worst material you could use, but it worked!

Check out my thread... http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1895

Also, I bought a mylar sail and cut it down to fit my 14. This sail is excellent...

Well i am only 14 years old and dont have the money to buy a brand new sail. I do have enough money to buy stuff and make one my own. Can you please tell me how much material you boought to make your nylon sail, and the ropes that run the foot and luff.

I have to get into my file... I'm in the middle of moving right now so it may be awhile.

If your hobie does not have a dolphin striker, you will need one before adding a Jib.
