1968 - present (although for the last ~ 15 years, not in the US) There were not many produced in the US from 1987 - 1995. Boats built in 1984 and after are significantly lighter than the ones built before. |

Boats of that vintage weigh at least 20 lbs less than those that came before. |

Interesting info, Matt. That makes it likely that the 14s at my club are pre-1984. They feel almost as heavy as our nicer 16s! |
