So a few months ago I purchased a hobie 14 Hobie Alter signature model, based on everything on the boat and the #'s I believe it is a 1985. This 26 year old boat is in mint condition, no soft spots and the Tramp even still has chaulk marks on it from where they had just replaced it before the sale.

My question is; what is the difference in the signature model?

A couple of vinyl stickers.

Really.

At the time, it might have included EPO rudders and Harken blocks, but every racer had those anyway (which is why all new boats come that way now).
