My 14 has metal v jam cleats on the back at each end of the traveler track. What are these for? I have a few parts boats, some have them and some don't. |

They are the original traveller cleats. The original main traveller had two control lines, one leading to each cleat. It was really cumbersome. Nobody misses it. |
