Hi there need some very basic advice I have just purchased a hobie 14 turbo that has been very neglected and intend to rebuild her can someone please tell me the optimum size and length of braided rope for the Jib sheets ,

32' of 5/16" diameter Spun Dacron.

Many thanks Matt is the 32' per sheet or will I half it ie 16' per sheet as I would like to place red sheet to Port and Green to Stbd, this project is to teach my girlfriends kids the joys and responsibility of sailing and anything I can do to make things easier for them I will

The sheet is continuous / one piece. Loose ends would fall off the tramp and drag, knotting two sheets together might not allow you to fully sheet out.
