Retrofit on a Hobie 14? No. For a lot of reasons. That site is a bit sketchy. Homebuilt. |

Dr. Bradfield has been messing about with foilers for many years. He just launched a new one. http://forums.sailinganarchy.com/index. ... pic=126628 Not a 14, but Dave Carlson has had an 18 foiler for many years. They have the same problems as the TriFoilers Some time in the future these will work better. |

Seems like a fine idea....as long as you have a crane to lift your boat in and out of the water. |
