Okay so I have the boat striped down and half way re-gel coated. I will try to get pics soon.

Lets just say it has been a learning experience I had a hard time dialing the gel but now have it worked out.I need to spray one more hull and then wet sand.
one thing I can say is if you are on the fence about doing it GO FOR IT. Ya it was a little bite of cash but I did it my self.

Ok here are some before pics and two after not wet-sanded but sprayed. I know the old blue looks light and the new blue is dark but when I took off the clips from the bow it was really a nice dark blue. so that is what I matched.

Turned out nicely. Well done! In the photos, I couldn't see the anti-skid surface on the decks. Did you do anything to preserve that or did your just sand it down and spray over them. I'm looking at spraying new gel on my 14 but want to preserve the anti-skid pattern. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

sanded them down I was going to cut out Neoprene to the pattern and use that.

Its hards to keep them and re-gel the deck. After playing with this stuff you start to see what you can do and what you can't. There are some ways to do it in my head but would not look stock.
