Anyone have any experiences with these tramps? Looking to replace a 14 tramp and hate the two piece tramps. I saw these and they look great but wondered if anyone had actual experience they could share

On the 14 and 16, trampoline tension is a key component of keeping the boat stiff. You can't get that kind of tension with a one-piece tramp.

Ironic that they're called "Race Day" when they're not class legal for racing.

What's your beef with the OEM trampoline?

Hey Matt, long time no write :)

This is for my kids to sail who are used to the Prindle tramp where lines do not disappear from sight through the gaps (I KNow I can get a line catcher), and it is way more comfortable sitting on mesh than center lines and grommets, but frankly i was just cuious and wondered about the tension. They seem to tension on the rear bar and one of the side bars.

Personally I like the cleaner one piece tramps, but needed feedback prior to jumping the wrong direction

I have not had experience with the one piece but I did buy a two piece tramp from them. I only sailed the boat once with the new tramp but I had it laced up for most of the summer season. It was good quality and similar to the aftermarket tramp I had on my H16 for 6+ years until I sold the boat.

When I broke down the boat for winter storage, I noticed that some grommets were broken. I called Race Day and Rick told me that they received a bad batch of grommets from the manufacturer. Without hesitation, he sent me a brand new tramp with grommets from a new distributor.

He stands behind his product and is obviously concerned about his reputation.
