| Post subject: | mainsheet line length |
I am looking to replace my mainsheet line, The one I have now is 42 feet which what Hobie calls for, but it seems like there is just a ton extra line laying on the tramp all the time. Anyone gone with a shorter length? |

Depends on what purchase you have in your main blocks and whether you use the tail as the traveler line. I find that ~37 ft. on a 6:1 system, using the tail as the traveler line, is plenty. |
