I finally have the 14T forestay rigging sorted out to my liking. I wanted the jib as low on the furler as possible yet as much mast rake as possible.

From the bottom up it goes like this:

bridles
furler
jib tack
jib head
shackle
swivel with pigtail
7 hole adjuster upside down (that was the key change)
shackle
Large shackle where shrouds and trap wires attach
mast tang

I'm only on the 2nd hole from the bottom (top since upside down) of the 7 hole adjuster (I can add more rake with 5 more holes) and the shrouds are at the bottom hole. The rig has slack and I'm not fully block to block.

Is my next step to shorten shrouds if I want to keep the rig tight? Are race 14s with full rake running loose rigs and stock shrouds or shortened?
