Post subject:  Looking for USED rudder lower casting unit for H14
Hi,

I'm restoring a friend's (circa 1983) H14. This owner would rather not spend any money, so I said I'd restore it if I could sail it with my kids a few times. The only expensive part I need is the rudder lower casting aluminum unit.

Trying to avoid $180 for a new one, since a few sails this summer is likely the only time this H14 will be used. Anyone got an H14/H16 lower casting unit or know of any kind of Hobie Cat salvage/consignment service?

This from an old 16 and not the prettiest. I believe they are interchangeable from the 16's to the 14's. I actually went to get rid of this yesterday and saw your post. PM me your contact info and I'm sure we can work something out if this is the part your needing and you'd like it.
