I recently bought a used Hobie and afterwards noticed that two of the four (I think four) sail numbers had either fallen off or been removed.
I can't tell for sure what the numbers might have been. How do I find out what the original sail number was? If I can't how do I get a new number?
Also odd about the boat there is no serial number on the back of the hull so I know its an older boat. However there are numbers stamped on the outside of the front pylons BUT there are not the same number. The left pylon stamp is 996 the right pylon stamp is 1609. Is either one of those the serial number?

This is my first Hobie, been sailing Lasers and Sunfish since I was young and decided for something a little more fun.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Thanks
Bill
