Long story short, couldn't get my boat up after 2 hours of trying, with a powerboat (and I've done it before with a powerboat and by myself), ended up caught in some fish nets, boat spent the nigh in the nets, managed to salvage the hulls (which I am definitely keeping, as one was bone dry and the other had <1/2 a gallon of water in it, after 14+ hours at sea), and the mast. The boom+sail was too caught in the net to get out without scuba gear and a knife, and a tropical rain system was moving in. Managed to get the block off the boom, which saves me $200+.

So I now need:

1) a set of battens for my spare sail
2) a boom
3) a mast pulley.

I am also considering a complete mast (with comptip), a newer 6 batten mainsail, and junk/part out boats.

Sincerely,
Sam
