Is the forestay and the bridles different in length between the standard and turbo versions? I know the T has the forestay in the jib, but you could rig it without the furler too.

I'm just wondering whether I need some new wires if I pick up a used jib.

Or I may have it all wrong and need some guidance either way:)

I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

The turbo bridles are much shorter to accomodate the jib.

Does anyone have the shroud and bridle measurements for a 14 Turbo? I am slowly converting my 14. I picked up a free windsurfer sail and boom setup. I wonder if I can use this as a jib with a nice self tacking setup? I am wondering how long I can make the forstay to maximize jib area, while still having a good angle with the bridles between the hulls.

Wishbone boomed jib with battens? now thats high tech.

Thanks

PS. Yes I do have a dolphin striker.

I am wondering about the wire specs too...I'd like to make them myself or if someone has the forestay with the bridles for sale I'm willing to buy them.

Thank you

The Hobie Class Association site has wire specs on it.
