This is the one of the all time best places to sail in NC. The launch area on the West end of the island is the public access area and it is only about 200 feet to the beach. Bring your cat wheels. This area is bounded by the Lockwood Folley Inlet. This area is very quiet and family centered. Houses to rent are very cheap. Cats can be left on the beach. The beach is never covered with people. Remember to look at West Beach Drive Gary Hobie Cat 21 SE Stars and Stripes Calvert Sails are Red White and Blue |
