I'm from the SF Bay area and race keel boats and do some Hobie regattas. I am coming to Sarasota saturday 6/13 for a week--will have to speak at a conference in Orlando a few days but hoped I might be able to with anyone on any boat. I'm used to frigid waters, though the San diego Hobie classic last weekend in San Diego had great warm water.

Sarrasota is a GREAT sailing area. I suggest contacting the yacht club there to get on a boat or Call Tackle Shack in St Pete for referal to local Hobie sailing possibilities. Don't bring a wetsuit. Bring your sunscreen.
