My favorite place is Big Creek State Park. I like the locations, because it has a lot of other sail boats and power boats are limited to no wake. It is about 900 acres. You can also rent some sail boats from the marina. Mainly hobie waves. I have also sailed on Badger Creek, which is only about 200 acres. It is nice for its lack of use.....if privacy is what you seek, go here....but beware of shallow water on the ends. You have to drive on about 3 miles of gravel to get to it, but the fishing is good. |
