Anybody out there sail in Montana? More specifically, how about Flathead Lake? My friends and I have 3 H16s and 1 H14 but sail on a relatively small lake that only gets windy once in awhile. We're looking to maybe take a road trip or two this summer to sail some bigger water with more reliable winds. Any info would be helful. Thanks! |

Are you still sailing on Flathead? I just moved to Missoula and will be sailing a F18 on Flathead this summer - looking for other catamarans! |

You can come over to South Dakota for our Regatta @ Angostura Reservoir, August 15-16th 2010. And there is also a race at Alcova, WY, but i am unsure of the date. Send me an email if you are interested. |

The more, the merrier... I'm in Bigfork, MT on the north end of the lake. There are 2 or 3 of us consistently going out on H-16s. My brother has a H-18 he's currently rebuilding in Whitefish...it will make it to the Flathead quite a bit. However, I am out of the country going to school and my sailing is on pause. Find us this coming summer, 2010. Look for the tequila sunrise, the all white, and the blue and white sails. I guess this only matters if you're still in the Flathead region... ciao, bones. |
